This is a project that I started this spring and am almost done. I need to work on the crow and add something to the top such as the word GERANIUMS, maybe. Still thinking on that!! I will be putting this project in a balck frame so the geraniums and beeskep will stand out!

FINISHED PROJECT!

I have finished my first locker hooking project. It was fun, different and a good way to use up all the fabrics laying around. My first love is still rug hooking but this is a really neat technique!! Love how the colors blend together!! Hope you like it!

THE LOOK OF GERANIUMS

I love the look of geraniums. They are so old fashioned! They look great with antiques, and look good with primitives! They are so giving of color and texture. Red is my favorite!! I have put together some for in the shop to sell. They turned out awesome!! I hope you enjoy them too!

The Butternut House

This pattern is from the "With these hands" by Maggie Bonanomi book!! I love this book and want to do all the patterns in it!! This is my first project!! Love it to pieces and can't wait to hang it up!! The most difficult part of this pattern was the cutting out of the pieces. I used freezer paper and it was so much simpler!!! ON TO MY NEXT PROJECT! Working on my own design with a beeskep and geraniums!!

Another Picture of project

Rug Hooking Project

Here are some pics of my hooking project. I bit off more than I can chew for the size. But I am determined to get this done. I have another project in mind and I want to get started in that. My son will be commissioned as a Second Lieutentant in the United States Marines so I would like to hook something of an American Flag. So I'd better get serious and get this done.

First Post!

This is my first post of this new adventure. I am new to this but I am looking forward to it! Today it is snowing and I have started in the change over from my son's old room to a spare bedroom but with a very primitive flare to it! I will take pictures when I am done and post them.

I have been working on my rug hooking project as well!! I will take pictures the table runner soon too!
